Our History
Over 40 Years of Proven Performance
Arning Companies was founded in 1983 by Fred Arning in Cassville, Missouri, with a mission to deliver reliable, high-quality canopy structures
to the fuel station industry. What began in a small metal fabrication shop quickly earned a reputation for craftsmanship, timeliness, and strong client relationships.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, as demand for Arning’s work expanded, so did our capabilities. We built new manufacturing spaces, hired skilled tradespeople, and extended our services beyond canopies to include custom kiosks, metal buildings, and structural components. By the early 2000s, Arning had become a go-to partner for some of the country’s most recognized retail fuel brands.
In 2021, we opened a second advanced manufacturing facility in Clarksville, Arkansas-marking a major leap in our capacity and reach. This site was
designed specifically to support our rapidly growing modular construction division, with space to assemble full structures indoors and ship completed units nationwide.
From our roots in canopy fabrication to our current position as a national manufacturer and construction partner, we have always remained grounded in quality, service, and continuous improvement.
