Framing Production worker

Arning Companies, LLC is hiring skilled Framers and Production Carpenters to build high-quality walls, floors, and roof systems in a modern off-site construction facility. This is a fast-paced, year-round indoor production role with steady hours. If you take pride in building things straight, square, and fast, this is the job for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Frame wood and light-gauge steel walls, floors, and roof trusses from blueprints and cut lists
• Perform accurate layout: snap lines, square walls, level floors, plumb assemblies
• Install sheathing, house wrap, windows, and roofing underlayment
• Use pneumatic framing nailers, chop saws, track saws, worm-drive Skilsaws, and laser levels daily
• Read and follow shop drawings, blueprints, and daily production schedules
• Build to tight tolerances with zero twist, bow, or out-of-square conditions
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and follow 5S standards
• Meet or exceed daily production targets (linear feet or modules per shift)
• Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment when needed

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of rough carpentry/framing experience (residential or commercial)
• Proven ability to frame straight, square, and plumb with minimal supervision
• Strong blueprint and layout reading skills
• Reliable, excellent attendance, and a team-first attitude
• Physical ability to lift 80+ lbs, climb ladders, and stand for 10+ hours

Preferred Skills

• Experience in modular, panelized, or off-site construction
• Light-gauge steel framing experience
• Familiarity with Lean or production environment workflows
