Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of projects that span one or multiple lines of business
• Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendors, communications, schedule, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues
• Full project life cycle ownership
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
• Provide status reporting
• Other duties as assigned
• Strong leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
• Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
• Experience negotiating contracts
• Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to meet design, schedule and within budget
• Experience working both independently and with a team-oriented environment
• Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
• Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies

Education, Experience, Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of project management/supervision experience preferred
• 5+ years of construction experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience preferred
• Intermediate level of experience with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective
• Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities
