Shipping and Receiving Production Worker



A shipping and receiving production worker is responsible for the movement of goods between a manufacturing facility and its customers. This includes receiving incoming materials and supplies, preparing outgoing products for shipment, and tracking inventory levels.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies, ensuring that they meet quality standards.
  • Store materials and supplies in designated areas.
  • Pick and pack outgoing products, ensuring that they are properly packaged and labeled.
  • Load and unload trucks and other shipping containers.
  • Track inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills.
