Shipping and Receiving Production Worker
A shipping and receiving production worker is responsible for the movement of goods between a manufacturing facility and its customers. This includes receiving incoming materials and supplies, preparing outgoing products for shipment, and tracking inventory levels.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies, ensuring that they meet quality standards.
- Store materials and supplies in designated areas.
- Pick and pack outgoing products, ensuring that they are properly packaged and labeled.
- Load and unload trucks and other shipping containers.
- Track inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
